Welcome to the retreat

Well, we're in day 2 now and the participants by the lake are no doubt storming through flipchart paper with ideas. I guess it's been harder for us to make our virtual retreat so interactive but I hope that the pages so far have been thought provoking. Myself, I've spent an awful lot of time thinking about the themes and questions in the programme and made a whole stack of notes in my thinking time on holiday and the train but haven't had nearly enough time to write them into words.

I see this retreat turning into a project in its own right, where people can use the themes to start mapping out ideas from their own perspective and linking them into the ideas of others. We've had visitors sign up so far from new places like Chile and Sweden and I know we've had visitors from all over the world, I gather this is thanks a grea deal to Global Voices. To get perspectives from all these new countries will be so valuable for Never Again and I can't wait to see what emerges... thanks everyone for coming :) ClareWhite 22:23, 5 Feb 2006 (GMT)
