NA London internship ad

From Never Again

Never Again International - London intern January - > July 2006 (proposed)

Never Again International is looking for a part time volunteer to assist Never Again's Chair in London in overseeing the running and building of Never Again International from a grass roots network to a global NGO.

The internship will involve exciting challenges and opportunities to be working with local peacebuilders and activists from around the world, to be involved in the creation of a visionary method and format for conflict prevention and to meet people who are shaping the world.

The internship will require a dedication to organisation and keeping the administration of the Chair and NAI's International Secretariat running smoothly and efficiently. You will be assisting the Chair who develops an overall strategic vision for the network globally and has a programme supervision role. You will need regular internet access and will ideally be based within easy distance of Central London. Knowing French, Chinese and/or Kinyarwandan would be useful but is not essential.

The work of the intern will be highly valued and appreciated by the Chair and by the entire Never Again team. It will also be a chance to build solid, demonstrable experience in an NGO with international recognition and contacts in government and civil society.

Please send a CV and a few words on why you would like the internship, when you are available and how long for, to poppy@neveragaininternational.org.

many thanks Never Again International
