This is the Budget for one full year, and will facilitate the smooth running of the office. This will require written proposals so there can be sustainability for the office.

Administrator Job Description

  • Runs and organizes regular office expenses of the project.
  • Classifies all finance documents.
  • Buys all office requirements.
  • Receives and replies to official correspondence with our local and internal partners.
  • Translates all documents when required into English or French.
  • Assists the project manager in fundraising for Never Again and strengthening the network.
  • Writes reports with analysis, develops and implements actions to achieve results as per targets consistently and present it.
  • Prepares timely and accurate plans and visit plans.
  • Maintains membership lists and organization records.

Project Manager Job Description

  • Fundraises and implements projects conceived of and planned together with the Never Again Committee.
  • Maintains and strengthens the Never Again International team.
    • Works to maintain the involvement and action of current Never Again members and committee.
    • Maintains constant communication with all committee members on an ongoing basis and utilizes skills and experience already present.
  • Communicates with local and international partners.
  • Assures the transparent and rightful use of funding together with the administrator.
  • Strengthens and organizes the Never Again Clubs in rural areas inside and outside of Rwanda.

Four Stages of Planning and Implementation

  1. Develop a long-term strategy together with the Committee. This would include a funding proposal for core funding (Project Manager’s salary, office, equipment, expenses). Set out long-term aims and objectives of Never Again and suggest a number of likely project proposals.
  2. Build a Quarterly/Biannual program into our long-term strategy. This will include detailed project proposals, fundraising targets and an organisational budget. These will be agreed on by the Committee and developed by the Project Manager.
  3. Monthly phone call to one of the internationally based committee members to brief them on the situation; and share and discuss ideas and plans.
  4. Weekly reports from the Project Manager to the Committee. This will include a log of all meetings and activities carried out, a breakdown of spending, and a progress report.
