From Never Again

Contents

Hello

I'm here by a series of happy accidents that crystallised my curiosity about what this group is up to. (I'm still finding out.)

The objectives of Never Again are far too important and urgent to leave to others. And the approach is free-thinking and innovative. So I hope plenty of people feel inspired to get actively involved.

Profile & photoblog

I have experience with various organisations boasting bewildering combinations of triple consonants and single vowels, notably DFID, ICRC, UNDP and HRW (I'm growing out of vowels). I have been based in Kinshasa since January 2006.

I post photographs and miscellaneous links at a place called Extra Extra. You are welcome to visit.

Current project: 'iR2P'

Following the retreat at Lake Kivu in 2006, a group of us are working to develop an idea to promote individual (to complement institutional/governmental) commitment to the ‘responsibility to protect’ concept (aka R2P). The idea is introduced here. You are welcome to collaborate; please contact me if you'd like to know more.

My links

Energetic editors are welcome to copy these across to the Library. I have many more links on De.licio.us, which I find easier to update, and occasionally send to the Never Again blog. (If you use Delicious and care to share a link that you're bookmarking, just tag it with 'for:FredR')
